To keep your Understatement pieces looking fresh and lasting longer, follow these care tips. Proper care ensures that your lingerie and swimwear maintain their quality while also being kinder to the environment!

Washing instructions

✔ Cold wash is best - Wash your pieces at a maximum of 30°C/86°F to protect delicate fabrics and prolong their lifespan. A cold wash also helps reduce environmental impact!

✔ Use a laundry bag - Place your lingerie in a wash bag to protect delicate materials and prevent snags or stretching.

✔ Avoid harsh detergents - Use a mild detergent without bleach or fabric softeners, as these can break down the fibers over time.

Swimwear care

✔ Rinse after every use - After swimming in the ocean or a pool, rinse your swimwear in cold water to remove salt, chlorine, and sunscreen residues.

✔ Hand wash when possible - To keep your swimwear in the best condition, we recommend hand washing with mild soap.

What to avoid

❌ No tumble drying or ironing - Heat weakens elastic fibers, causing your underwear to wear out faster. Always air dry your pieces instead.

❌ No dry cleaning - Chemicals used in dry cleaning can be too harsh for delicate lingerie and swimwear fabrics.
