Klarna refund doesn’t match - What should i do?Updated a month ago

If you’ve returned an item but the refund in your Klarna app doesn’t seem correct, don’t worry - we’ll help guide you through it.

Please note that since we use Klarna via Shopify Payments, we do not have access to Klarna’s internal systems or your personal Klarna account. This means we cannot view how the refund is displayed on your end or investigate the issue directly with Klarna.

Once we’ve processed your refund in our system, it’s sent to Klarna automatically. If the full amount hasn’t shown up in your Klarna app or bank account within a few days, we kindly recommend that you reach out to Klarna’s customer support. They’ll be able to check the status of your refund, explain the breakdown, and help resolve any discrepancies.

To pause your invoice while things are being sorted, you can:

  1. Open the Klarna app

  2. Go to “Orders” and select your Understatement order

  3. Tap “Report a problem” and choose “I’ve returned my order”

This will pause your payments until Klarna completes their review.
